Gateway to Bandarban | Hospitality Meets Opportunity

Strategically located beside the main road and just steps from the main bus terminal at the entrance of Bandarban city, Saitar Dong Urban Residential Hotel & Mini Restaurant is designed to serve as a key hospitality landmark for both tourists and business travelers.

Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, this hotel will provide essential services to visitors heading into Bandarban, Ruma, Thanchi, and Rowangchori—some of the region’s most popular and scenic destinations.

Beyond hospitality, this is also a high-potential investment venture. As a core support facility for the Ruma Resort and Agro Project, the hotel will go beyond traditional lodging—serving as the central hub for company operations, executive retreats, and partner accommodations.

With structural work already completed, the next phase includes interior and exterior design, room setup, and restaurant installation. We aim to finish all preparations by December 2026, with a grand opening in January 2027.

বাক্তলাই / Baktlai

This cottage is named Baktlai. The waterfall located at the most remote and secluded corner of Ruma, Bandarban is Baktlai. The Baktlai waterfall cascades 400 feet from a steep mountain slope into a deep gorge below & it’s one of the highest waterfalls in Bangladesh. With no signs of human presence nearby, the area remains untouched and serene. Reflecting the purity and distinct character of the waterfall, the cottage has been thoughtfully designed to harmonize with its natural surroundings.

ণাথাম্বা / Nathamba

The name of this cottage is Nathamba. Nathamba nestled near one of the most dangerous waterfalls in the country—Ruma. Located close to the Arakan border and just 4 km from the last village, Nathamba rests in a truly remote and untouched area.

The final 2 km leading to the cottage consists of a steep mountain slope blanketed by a dense bamboo forest. No roads reach this place, and no human hand has altered its raw beauty. Everything remains ancient, natural, and pristine.

In harmony with its surroundings, the cottage itself is entirely made of bamboo. It reflects the spirit of the waterfall—wild, pure and deeply rooted in nature.

রিজুক / Rejuk

Rijuk Waterfall is one of the oldest and most popular tourist destinations in Ruma Upazila. Located about six kilometers upstream from Ruma Bazaar along the Sangu River, it is the only major waterfall in the country that directly falls into a river.

Our cottage—Rijuk—is named in honor of this iconic natural wonder. Just as the waterfall lies between a village on one side and a cliff and river on the other, Rijuk Cottage is set with a road and human settlement on one side, and a steep drop with a stream (jhiri) on the other. It perfectly mirrors the dramatic contrast of nature and life found at Rijuk Falls.

জিংসিয়াম কটেজ / Zingsiam Cottage

Inspired by a Waterfall, Built with a Story, Zingsiam Saitar is one of the most remote and dramatic waterfalls in Ruma, full of natural energy and emotional history. It gave birth to the Ruma canal—one of the liveliest water streams in Bangladesh.

Long ago, a little village girl named Zingsiam lost her way while herding cows and fell into the hidden stream deep in the jungle. Her villagers later found traces of her along the three steep levels of the waterfall. In memory of her, the waterfall was named Zingsiam Saitar.

The trekking route to Zingsiam Saitar passes through iconic spots like Keokradong peak, Rumana Para, and ends at Boga Lake—making it one of the most rewarding trails in Bandarban.

Inspired by the waterfall’s three levels, Zingsiam Cottage is built in three connected layers. The final level features a peaceful mini pool, designed to flow with nature just like the waterfall.

This eco-resort is a tribute to both natural beauty and human spirit.

Jadipai /জাদিপাই

Jadipai is one of the most stunning and captivating tourist spots in Bangladesh, often called “The Queen of Waterfalls.” Located in Ruma & near Jadipai Para, just below the highest village in Bangladesh—Passing Para—it lies around 30 km beyond Keokradong Peak along the Tri-Nation Pillar Road from Ruma Bazaar.

To reach the majestic Jadipai Waterfall, you must trek about 3 km down a winding mountain slope. This is the largest waterfall in Bangladesh, formed by the cloud-fed streams flowing down from Keokradong and Kopital mountains. The journey is challenging, full of excitement and raw beauty.

To celebrate and connect with the beauty of Jadipai, we’ve built a Jadipai Cottage—a serene getaway that reflects the natural charm of the waterfall. From our resort, you can reach Jadipai easily, making it a perfect base for explorers.
